Lincoln Navigator
Perfect for a shopping trip

My favorite feature on the Lincoln Navigator is the power retractable running boards.
My mother would have loved them. She always seemed to want to know if my test drive vehicles had running boards, for better ingress and egress.
When a door is opened, the running boards quietly extend out by 4 inches to allow easier access to the vehicle. When the doors are closed, the running boards automatically retract under the rocker panels.
Navigator is a striking vehicle, always has been. Strong, assertive lines impose a powerful body stance and chrome accents add flair to the commanding presence.
Detailed craftsmanship is found in the interior. I watched part of "Bucket List" on the rear-seat DVD entertainment system while not driving just because the atmosphere seemed so inviting.
We made a family shopping trip to Dallas in the Navigator. Everyone had enough room, and there was plenty of cargo area for four females' packages, including formal gowns.
The third-row seat had plenty of space for one of us to nap on the way over.
Delivering 310 horsepower and 365 lb.-ft. of torque, the 5.4-liter V-8 engine was more than sufficient on Interstate 20.
The cabin is quiet, and the multi-link independent rear suspension aids in a refined ride and maintenance of vehicle composure.
There is no question the vehicle is safe. Navigator has an innovative system that uses a network of sensors to determine protection for the driver and front passenger in certain collisions. It customizes the deployment of the dual-stage front airbags based on driver's seat position, whether the front passenger seat is occupied and the weight range of the occupant, whether front safety belts are in use and overall severity of the impact.
