Legendary Jaguar

Jaguar

Jaguar has revealed the new XKR, delivering a superb balance of high performance, dynamic ability and refinement.
The new generation of XKR convertibles with all-new V8 engines deliver more power and performance with greater efficiency. With interior enhancements, advanced lightweight aluminum body structure and a wider range of models, plus the new luxurious Portfolio model, the XKR builds on 60 years of legendary performance to deliver the best of everything Jaguar.
Exterior changes for XKR include a distinctive and purposeful new front end design, new LED rear lights and a new lower rear body valance. Inside the cabin, XKR features the exciting, user friendly JaguarDrive Selector, first seen on the XF to further enhance the XK's luxury sporting character.
XKR starts from $78,400 for the convertible, and the model we test drove was $102,060 with suede seats and a heated steering wheel.
In 1948, Jaguar created what would become one of the most famous badges in the world, as the all-new and highly advanced XK engine made its debut in the revered XK120 sports car.

Another Convertible in Last Year
The 2009 Honda S2000 will be the final model year produced of the award-winning roadster.
First introduced in 1999 for the 2000 model year, the S2000 helped define its segment with class-leading handling, engine technology and value. Originally envisioned as a limited-edition tribute to Honda's 50th anniversary, S2000 production was extended in response to customer demand and critical acclaim.
The S2000 is sold in 64 countries around the world with cumulative worldwide sales of over 110,000 since its introduction in 1999. More than 65,000 S2000s have been sold in the United States since 1999.
